Illness education to help children understand diagnoses in a clear, age-appropriate way
Trauma, grief, and bereavement support
Coping strategies for anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and stressful life events
Play-based therapeutic interventions to process feelings and build confidence
Support for siblings and caregivers during medical or emotional crises
Child Life Services focus on reducing fear, promoting emotional safety, and empowering both children and their families.
Exposure Coaching
Exposure Coaching is designed for children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, or phobias. Using a gradual, supportive, and strengths-based approach, clients learn to face fears in manageable steps, gaining confidence and mastery.
Common areas addressed include:
OCD and intrusive thoughts
School anxiety and avoidance
Social anxiety
Specific phobias (vomiting, needles, driving, animals, etc.)
Panic and health anxiety
Exposure work is collaborative and paced appropriately, ensuring clients feel safe, supported, and ready for each step forward.
Eating Disorder Coaching
Compassionate, Weight-Inclusive Support for Real-Life Recovery
Eating Disorder Coaching offers warm, practical, and judgment-free support for individuals and families navigating eating disorder recovery or disordered eating patterns. This service is designed to complement clinical treatment by providing the day-to-day guidance that helps you (or your loved one) stay grounded, supported, and moving toward healing.
Rooted in Health at Every Size® (HAES®), my coaching approach honors body diversity, rejects diet culture, and centers trust, autonomy, and compassionate care. Recovery is possible in every body—and you never have to pursue intentional weight loss to be deserving of support.
What Coaching Can Help With
Meal support and accountability to reduce anxiety and build structure
Psychoeducation around nutrition, body image, and recovery from a weight-neutral, HAES®-aligned perspective
Skill-building for navigating challenging food situations and exposures
Parent/Caregiver coaching to support a child’s recovery without relying on weight-based goals
Emotional regulation and grounding strategies during difficult or overwhelming moments
Support in challenging diet culture and internalized weight stigma

Non-Judgmental Approach
